Undergraduate programs
The School of Government offers major programs leading to the bachelor degrees in political science, public administration, and labor and social security. All of the programs are enlisted in China’s tier-1 undergraduate programs. We provide an excellent education that incorporates our teaching activities with faculties’ research specializations, and we offer a wide array of courses allowing for both breadth and depth of study. We hope that in the course of study with us, our undergraduate majors will develop their analytical and practical skills essential for addressing problems in governance and public administration.
Our undergraduate programs last for four years, and all course work used to satisfy the 150-credit degree requirement must be completed. The credit requirement includes 52 points in general required classes, 44 in major required classes, 48 in electives and 6 points in thesis. All course requirements must be met within a period of time suggested by the university from the date of matriculation, with degrees conferred in Laws and Management.
Our programs provide a broad skill set that helps students enjoy career advancement. Our graduates are placed in government agencies, state-owned enterprises, public institutions, non-profit organizations, and corporations. Students continuing in academia have received offers from world-ranking universities graduate programs, including Princeton and the University of Chicago.
