Associate professor dr. Lijing Yang and PhD candidate Ms. Zihui Zhao attended the IRSPM 2025 Conference

Lijing Yang, Doctor and Associate professor in Public Administration, and her co-author Ms. Zihui Zhao (PhD. Candidate in Public Administration at School of Government, Nanjing University), participated the International Research Society of Public Management (IRSPM) 2025 annual conference, which held in Bologna, Italy from 7 to 9 April 2025. This Annual Conference was organized in close cooperation with the University of Bologna. The IRSPM 2025 Conference focused on the theme of "Civic engagement and social capital in contemporary public administration: facing the challenges of social equity and environmental sustainability", including 18 activities of plenary panels, as well as editorial talk and roundtable discussion. 



Dr. Yang and Ms. Zhao joined all sessions at the Panel 12 "From Intentions to Impact: Integrity antecedents and anti-corruption policies" and presented their recent study into public values preference of junior civil servants in China, sharing premier data analysis results, including both descriptive quantitative results and qualitative findings regarding to the reasons attributing to values conflicts. They got a number of positive feedbacks and valuable comments on how to improve their manuscript for publication. Dr. Yang also acted as a discussant and actively involved in discussion.



The International Research Society of Public Management (IRSPM) is the leading society in the domain of public management in a worldwide scope.
