Our School’s International Reputation Continues to Rise
Recently, the international higher education research organization QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) officially released the 2025 QS World University Subject Rankings. This ranking evaluates the performance of over 1,700 universities from 100 countries and regions across 55 subject areas. The rankings are based on five key indicators: academic reputation, employer reputation, research citations per paper, research productivity and impact, and international research network.
In this year's rankings, our school's Public Administration discipline is ranked in the global 51-100 range in the QS-defined "Social Policy and Administration" subject area, with 10 mainland Chinese universities making it into the top 100. Meanwhile, our Political Science discipline is ranked in the global 101-150 range, with 8 mainland Chinese universities ranked in the top 150.
In recent years, our school has actively promoted the "Double First Class" discipline construction, focusing on fundamental theoretical innovation and leading research in applied issues. We have steadily enhanced the internationalization of our faculty, expanded international cooperation and exchange channels, and significantly improved the level of international publications by our faculty and graduate students. As a result, the international academic network has become increasingly close, and our disciplines' international reputation has continuously risen, further enhancing our school's influence in the global academic community.
